Section of Weston Blacktop to close Tuesday

The Livingston County Highway Department has announced that a section of the Weston Blacktop will be closed, starting at 7:30 Tuesday morning, stretching from the Ocoya Road to Route 24. Motorists traveling between Pontiac and Fairbury are being advised to use the Fairbury Road, or County Highway 6 as much as possible. The Weston Blacktop will remain open from Pontiac to the Ocoya Road. Highway officials are closing the road Tuesday only, to move an oversized vehicle. The road should reopen by late afternoon.
