Pontiac residents show support for troops
Pontiac residents show support for troops
Pontiac residents showed their support for National Guard Troops early Monday morning, by lining streets waving the American flag. The Pontiac Guard Unit left this morning for Afghanistan. Jim Haley and Stephanie Potter were among those showing support Monday morning near the intersection of Ladd and Howard Streets. They were both proud to show their support for the troops but were sorry to see them go.
The troops will help train the Afghan National Police during their mission.
