Police discuss shoplifting with area business owners

Shoplifting was the focus of a training seminar at the Pontiac Public Safety Complex yesterday. Business owners and employees from around town heard a presentation on how to deal with a shoplifting situation, according to Pontiac Police Detective Brad Baird. Baird says you should notify authorities if you suspect someone is shoplifting, rather than approaching the person yourself.
