County to seek bids for future center
County to seek bids for future center

  Public bids will soon be sought for work on the future Livingston County Law and Justice Center. Thursday night, the county board approved a motion to release public bidding documents on the project. County Board Chair Bill Fairfield says there are several steps in the bidding phase. CLICK FOR SOUND Fairfield says the project will include around 40 different bids from companies. CLICK FOR SOUND A contract for site utility work will likely be awarded in April. Fairfield expects groundbreaking to take place sometime in May. Also Thursday, the Livingston County Board approved the annual report from the Livingston County Health Department. Administrator MaLinda Hillman told the group that around 20 percent of the county’s population received an H1N1 vaccine. The board also approved a transfer agreement for the Odell Emergency Radio Tower and a resolution amending standing rules for a bidding threshold.
