A Pontiac woman, convicted of stealing money from an area grain company years ago, has now been found guilty of identity theft. It took a Livingston County jury 20 minutes to find 42-year-old Teresa Vaughan guilty of the Class three felony this week. Prosecutors say Vaughan used someone else’s Bank of Pontiac ATM card last July, to obtain under $2,000 of money and goods. Vaughan could face an extended prison term when she’s sentenced April 26 because of a prior theft conviction, in which she is charged with taking over $200,000 from the bank accounts of R.G. Grain Company between 1997 and 2001.
