The Fairbury City Council has approved a contract for water testing. The three-year contract costs over three thousand dollars for three years. Fairbury City Superintendent Leroy McPherson contacted P.D.C. Laboratories about the service contract. Also at the recent Fairbury City Council meeting, the group learned that air exchange units would be purchased for the fire department, through a grant received from FEMA. The Council also considered the possibility of supporting Paul Coleman – who plans to ride a bicycle to the National Fallen Firemen’s Foundation in Maryland, to raise funds for the future Brian Munz Safety Complex.
